Shipping policy
Australia Post / Couriers
We use Couriers & Australia Post for our deliveries. If you are not home, if possible, consider having your order delivered to work or a parcel locker to help keep them out of our harsh Australian weather.
If your delivery address is a commercial or Aus Post shop front, please let us know so we can ensure the correct delivery method is used. This can be either via stating PO Box/Parcel Locker or the business name in the shipping address and will help ensure a smooth delivery without a return to sender delay.
Our parcels are labeled as containing food and to not be left in the sun/heat, however, we do not have control over your parcel once it is in the hands of the Courier or Australia Post.
If you provide incorrect shipping details and the parcel is either retuned to us or sent to another person, we are not liable for return shipping or product replacement if we shipped the item to the address supplied at the checkout.

Regular Post $9.99
Express Post $12.99
both options include tracking & insurance.
Orders placed prior to 11am will be shipped the same business day. During peak periods, there may be a delay of up to 48hrs as we are only a small team.
Chocolate Items - only shipped in cooler months
While we take care in packing, we are unable to take responsibility for melting or heat-related damage once orders have been dispatched, as this is outside of our control.
Order & Collect from our Ipswich Store
Shop online and choose pickup from our Ipswich store if you are local at: Shop 4, 28 Mitchell St, Riverview, Ipswich, Queensland 4303
If you choose pickup at checkout, and cannot pickup from our Ipswich store, please email us at contact@sweetpickings.com.au with your order number and postage address, and we will invoice you for your postage to complete before postage out your sweet treats.
We charge our lovely customers less than the actual postage costs to try and keep it as affordable as possible, however, postage increases are out of our control, as are the postage times.
Some of the ways we keep postage prices affordable is by reusing packing and clean filling materials for packages. It's good for the environment and good for the bank balance!
Once an item leaves our hands, we have no control over how fast or slow the journey to you may be, however, tracking is provided. If an item is lost/damaged by the Courier or Australia Post, we will file a complaint/dispute form with them.
Once they have approved it, either a replacement (if possible), or refund will be offered. Postage fees cannot be refunded unfortunately as these have already been paid to Australia Post.
International Post
We offer worldwide shipping, however, please be warned, the shipping prices are quite high.These prices are set by Australia Post, not us! If we could charge less, or a flat rate, we 100% would.
If the postage and packing does come to less than the quoted amount, we will refund you the difference
You will be responsible for any import charges or taxes that may be payable on the receiver's end.
The estimated delivery time for international shipping is 6-27 days.
